what i have been up to...

...handmade holiday gifts.
A tea cozy made from repurposed linen and quilted cotton with freezer paper stencil detailing for A's mom's bee house teapot.

Reclaimed wool scarves for one of A's sisters, my brother (navy and light blue tweed), his girlfriend (grey and grass green)(waiting for the photos).

A hand embroidered, hand painted fabric and suede cuff for A's other sister.

A reclaimed wool quilt for A (with A taking a nap underneath).

Dude, you rock and you truly are an inspiration. Seeing all your creations puts a smile on my face and think 'of course'....you are the domestic diva.
oh and you forgot ice cream on your list of likes (ha ha).

The picture of the tea cosy doesn't do it justice - it doesn't show the four-sided shape, or the pretty lining ... my camera is broken, when it is fixed I will take some pictures . Also, it fits on the little teapot perfectly!

btw, Reva- I wear that scarf every day. It's just so soft and warm, and the colours go with everything. Thanks again for such a one-of-a-kind.
